water, air, trees, animals, hills, snow, ice, earth…

I will be a sophomore next year and living on the sorority hall and basically the dorm rooms are an apartment and they are set up where there are 4 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. I couldnt get one last year because my roommate hated animals, but this year ill have my own room so im thinking about going for it. No, we arent allowed to have pets except fish. I hate fish, they are boring and pointless(sorry to any fish lovers out there) but ya that does not satisfy my need to have a pet. I love pets and i just love having something to take care of. Im very responsible and spend most of my time studying anyway. I have had gerbils, hamsters, and mice before (which are probably my only options right?) and i hate mice so they are out. The only thing i dont like about hamsters is they smell more than gerbils and are more prone to bite than gerbils…buuuut i love how cute they are. Gerbils are my favorite, its just they arent as easy to hold as hamsters so im torn. Dont try to tell me its irresponsible to get one if im not allowed. They tell us ahead of time for inspections and if they find it, my mom will take it. I just really want a pet. If u have any other ideas of good pets, tell me. Or any experiences with this, thanks!
Also, a 5 gallo aquarium is too small right? I had my two gerbils in a 10 gal and i was jw if you could go smaller than that?

So my cat’s vet just called and they where talking to my mom about getting our cat fixed. But what I was wondering is what is she already is fixed? How much is the average cost? Also what is the average cost for getting it done at a animal shelter? And sense she is a “senior” will it cost more? Btw we aren’t very sure if she is fixed or not because the vet saw no scar. I don’t think you have. Otherwise you would know what a Rhinoceros was.

I have always had this notion that killing anything accept animals for food would be sinful. Today I killed ants with spray in my flat and feel guilty? I usually let such creatures live. Am I being a bit legalistic?

What is your opinion on women who have ectopic pregnancies (a dangerous condition in which the fetus develops outside the uterus), pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, and other very dangerous conditions who decide to abort their fetus? Is abortion okay in these cases or would you prefer for “nature to take its course?”

I just want a fairly short answer which is convincing enough, not some long annoying answer which is clunked up with too much info.

I mean, why do you believe that we’re disconnected in some way to all other animal species?
Look at what we have in common with them; We have the same private areas as many animals. We have the same organs. Our facial features are organised in the same place.
I just want to know why you reckon we’re not family to the animal kingdom.
On a side note: If there’s a God, you have to admit that he/she/it went out of his/her/it’s way to make it look like we’re animals.
It’s almost like God is trying to make us lose faith. And if that’s the case, then God can’t be so loving afterall if he’d do this to purposely steer us towards hell.

Beginning:

I fell off the bed hitting my head on the hilt of my sword which knocked into the fire pit. My vision impaired i try to spot the figures before me. Concentrating hard three men appeared before me as I opened my eyes slightly .Although my brown hair was in the way of my vision I could see slightly that they were fighting hard and long showing a great deal of swordsmanship. The one without the mask of gold spun only to receive a cut to the backside. The blood flowed as wine leaving a pitcher .It dripped soaking the earth with blood. He dropped to his knees at the mercy of his enemy. He was at the feet of his enemies not asking for mercy with pride. He wheezed and gasped for air as he stood once more striking one of them leaving a deadly blow to the neck which the man had cracked back into place chuckling with his metallic voice. He fell once more the gold masked men placed there blades on the shoulder of their victim chanting “death to all those of osaron “The blades clipped a few of the mans long shaggy beard as they toyed with him with amusement. He spoke gasping “tony run, tony run “before he could say more he head had been separated from the body and now was at my feet the body burst into flames. To my amazement fire blazed in the hands of the two of the hooded ones. Suddenly, part of a flame hit me as I began to gain full conscious .I leaped high into the air feeling a slight jolt of pain. The blade lowered, the cowards stormed from my house running through the marketplace setting fire to the items in the market. I began chasing them with haste, on their trail .They ran into the forbidden forest .I was scared of it even as a boy because of the yellow eyes of the wolves in the nights suppressing darkness. Despite the creatures I feared lurking in the night .I tore through the branches and debris searching for revenge. Leagues away if found the masks of gold hiding in the bushes of an oak wood tree. My heart pumped as if I were a jaguar stalking it’s pray. I would have my revenge in one night turn. I began to climb the vines from the tree which I was to pounce upon my victims below.
Taking my time I took vines from the tree to make the most perfect nooses I have ever made. The flakes of snow fell upon my skin even now I still felt fire within stronger than ever before. Now is the time to take my course of revenge to repay them for the suffering they have brought upon my mother,and my three year younger 13 year old sister. I loosened the noose sending it down to the throats of those who took my greatest part of my life. I took a hold of a branch to break off to spring them up.I sprung it free. At the sound of a crack of their necks i felt as if i could possibly be joyful again as i lowered them down from their rightful place only to come back to reality that my father was dead. Startled by a branch behind me I turned around There stood two golden masks out of thin air they disappeared leaving smoke .I looked back at the two I killed . They where decoys! I murdered innocent lives I turned their bodies upright. They hands were bound with rope .I took off the masks slowly. Sorrow swept over my body I let out a cry the gods could hear. For they where no strangers it was no other than my mother and sister!
