so stem cell research opposers claim that we are “playing god”
similar to abortions.
so the preservation of life through scientific means such as medicine and operations are also acts that “defy” nature and should also be labelled as “playing god”
so at what point would you consider that it is not acceptable to play god or do you think that it is just a convenient argument?
I believe that any scientific advancement is acceptable and should be promoted. including stem cell research.

Please Read: Hey, i’m 13. When I was 3, I used to have a dog, but we had to give him away. I also had a cat, but we had to give him away too, because he kept clawing us. So when I turned 7, we got sugar gliders, a gold fish, and two aquatic frogs. We had to give the sugar gliders away because they were too wild, and the gold fish and frogs passed away. I loved my fish so much, my mother did surgery on him to try to save him (his mouth was closing together or something). Now that i’m 13 and more responsible, I would like a fancy rat. I spent all day researching them and calculating their supplies cost, and i’m raising enough money to buy them. I would really like one because I feel lonely most of the time, and pets improve responsibility and release stress. I know you have to do lots to keep them, feed them, play with them, clean their cage, clean after them, bathe them, ect. And I would be willing to do all of that. I know lots of adults think their child will get bored after two weeks of taking care of it, then its their job, but I can assure you I wouldn’t, I get more attached to animals than people. But, my problem is, I have never asked for a pet. I have never went to pet stores and beg or anything. So, my parents don’t know I want a pet. I’m scared it will just look out of the blue, and they’ll think i’m crazy or something. So, please give suggestions on how I should ask them Please no rude answers. Thank you!!!

im reading up on some stuff on DFG for california, and from what ive read..
i can take “small game” as defined with a .22lr
i can take “big game” as defined with any centerfire soft tip expanding cartridge
and i can take non game animals any time of the year, in any amount defined as English sparrow, starling, coyote, weasels, skunks, opossum, moles and rodents (excluding tree and flying squirrels, and those listed as furbearers, endangered or threatened species).
so is there a caliber limit on what i can take non-game with? it specifies for small game and big game, but does not say much about non-game

I drew in the mud with a broken stick Finch passed to me. It was hard, with handcuffs slunk around my arms but I managed it. The wood was so amazing, breath taking. All the glossy tree’s draped over our heads, it’s like something out of an enchanted fairy tale book. It is real life though.

I can taste his words as they get lapped up in my ears. They tingle, but although it’s a soft sound it makes two tears roll out from my eyes. Feeling words is a bad sign, not a thing to be proud of. It’s all part of my mental illness.

I’m coming up to a point in my life where I have to make some pretty big decisions, such as where I’m going to go to university and things of that nature. But I keep finding myself wanting more. I want to live my life, have adventures, meet people, escape all my anxieties, and just enjoy as many things as possible cause, as cliche as it sounds, you really only live once and I don’t want to pass on knowing that I haven’t lived it to its full extent. I also want to impact people’s lives with hope and love by creating a sort of organization where its goal is to help people see that life, no matter how bad or sad, is worth living. Doing things such as creating recreational centers for kids, creating safe homes for victims of human trafficking in places such as Europe, setting up soup kitchens and shelters for homeless people, and just showing people everywhere that having and spreading love and hope to the people around you can lead to incredible things. So, the situation I have here is that my parents don’t believe what I want is going to help me in future and they want me to become a lawyer or something like that and as much as I hate that they think that, I’ve always lived to make my parents proud and I just feel really conflicted with this. Because I want to go to college and everything, but I really want to do what I described with the organization. I don’t want to be what they want me to be, but I feel like they won’t be proud of me in the end and that hurts me pretty bad even thinking about it. So, I guess I just want some advice on what you think I should do about this. I’m really in need of some type of advice. Thanks!

Today my class showed up a film about Antarctica creatures, and it showed a part where the killer whales started attacking a seal. While the seal was on the ice, the killer whales tried to knock it off and then do pretty tragic things to it… (eating it). I was at the point where I was near to tears. I was thinking, “Poor seal! Screw you, killer whales! Go to hell!”
yeah, I know, pretty immature for me, but I have a big heart for animals and my heart is fragile. I even get upset when someone kills a wasp (lol).
I feel some sorta hatred towards killer whales. I know that they don’t have any predators and are at the top of the food chain and eats everything, but it just saddens my heart when it kills an innocent creatures as prey.
I’ve been an animal lover all my life, but myself hating killer whales, is that bad?

Can you please help me find products, like BABY WIPES, Shaving Creams, Shampoos, Shower Gels, MakeUp Cosmetics, Other stuff I use on my body & face that DO NOT test on animals. I am so worked up because I look up all the brands and realize that some of these organic places are online to buy and I can’t because I don’t have a credit card or paypal and their no where to be found in Ireland where I live so I need alternatives, somewhere I can buy them, or what brands DO NOT test on animals etc.
I need help, please do not send me the PETA DO NOT test list because their all online places I can’t buy from,as their either in America and I am trying my hardest not to use any of the products that were on the other list. So can anyone help me with stores, brands and companies that DO NOT test on animals? For everyday things like baby wipes, body stuff, hair stuff, face, makeup etc please?
