I’m sure I sound just like every other wannabe author out there when I’m asking this question, but I would really appreciate the advice.
I’m trying to think of a name for a certain group of people who sort of control different elements of nature. They migrated from their land of (insert name here) to Earth.
I was hoping for the name to mean something, but it doesn’t have to…
I was thinking of something like Felixia (Felix=happy and prosperous in latin) but I’m not sure how it sounds. The people of Felixia? Felixian people?
Any ideas? Thank you!

Are there different tribes within the tribe? Like is there a certain subset that controls weather, and others who are stronger with air?
If so, you might consider one name for the ~race~, and names for the different ~tribes~ within the race. Perhaps check a thesaurus for synonyms to existing words. “Control” tends to imply subservience, so “reign” might work. Do they actual “control” elements, in that if they want it to rain, that’s what happens; no ifs, ands, or buts about it? Or is it a suggestion – they nudge the elements into the proper balance for a desired result. You could use a word like “guide.”
Personally, I would make up words that I would claim to be what they call themselves. If you try that and it seems to glitch up your storytelling, then just mention the words a few times, but have humans call them something else (like they call themselves a word that sounds like “ndohgnrt” but since humans can’t pronounce that, we call them “elementals” – a word I’m pretty sure would be cliche for you to use, but you get it. I hope.)
well it’s a book so it doesn’t have to be pronounceable how about Xa’al. Zanadu? Eponii? Or you could play rome total war and steal one of the tribe names from history.
Felixia? Eh… that’s kind of weak.
Why not just straight and simple–the Controllers?
Shadow stalkers. It makes you think how dangerous their powers are and how far back their region has come from.
